Data & privacy
How Rise Navi uses your information, where AI is involved, and what you can control.
Updated 25 October 2026
What information is used?
Account details, career profiles, uploaded materials, conversations and selected product activity are stored to run your account and support matching.
Information from a resume or material may also appear in your saved career profile, conversations, match analysis and service records.
Cookies and browser storage support sign-in, language and interface state.
AI and service providers
Where AI features are enabled, they send relevant information to Anthropic’s API. Depending on the feature, this can include profile or resume text, images, preferences, conversations and relevant job context.
We use Resend for email delivery when email features are configured, and for our support and privacy inboxes. This can involve email addresses, message contents, attachments and delivery information.
Uploaded files in the hosted service are stored using Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3.
If you choose Google sign-in, we use the account details Google shares to help you sign in.
Service providers may process information outside Australia, including in the United States. Processing locations and retention depend on the provider and service configuration.
AI analysis can be incomplete or wrong. Employers make hiring decisions, and a match does not guarantee an interview or job. Check job details before deciding.
What can I control?
- Edit your profile and preferences.
- Remove materials from your active list.
- Turn digest emails off in Settings.
Removing a material does not erase its original file or information already added to your profile.
Retention and deletion
Account, career and activity records are retained to operate your account and the service. The current product does not apply one automatic expiry period to all personal information.
Where backup copies or provider-held records exist, separate retention arrangements may apply. Contact us to discuss the options and limits for your information.
Account and file access
Account pages require sign-in, and file requests are checked against account ownership. Please keep your sign-in details private and use the support inbox if you notice unexpected account activity.
Questions, requests and complaints
To request access, correction or deletion of your data, or raise a privacy concern, email privacy@risenavi.com
If your enquiry relates to an account, writing from its registered email address helps us identify it. We may need to verify that you control the account. Please do not send passwords or identity documents in your first message.
We handle deletion requests manually after verifying account ownership and confirm the outcome by email. When deleting an account, we first stop its scheduled matching and emails. We will explain any information that needs to be retained and any limits affecting backups or service-provider records.
If you remain concerned after contacting us, you can ask the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner about complaint options for your circumstances. OAIC privacy complaints
